Urdu ya English?

When we started Pring, we designed the whole system in plain English keeping the popularity of English websites like Orkut, Google, Youtube etc. When you send one of our shortcodes an SMS the response from Pring is in English. Same is true for any other command.

After running Pring in the wild for sometime, we’ve noticed that 90% of our users use some form or the other of Urdu written in English (or Roman Urdu). So, starting from today, we’re introducing Urdu for Pring over SMS.

You can SMS URDU or ENGLISH and we will change the system language for you accordingly. To find out what your current interface language is, SMS ZABAAN. In the coming days, we will make Urdu as the default system language for SMS in Pakistan. Ofcourse, this does not effect the actual messages from fellow Pringers, they will remain the same.

We’re also working on supporting Nasta’liq Urdu support for our interface language in a way that does not limit Pring. We hope you enjoy using these new features as much as we had fun writing them!

Happy Pringing!

Good to read your response but I have few problems, may be you can solve them. I like @omgfacts and other profiles providing facts on twitter, so I decided to make a profile on pring which provides different knowledge able facts but I found that many other info profiles copy my facts and pring them back as they are their own. I am very upset! thats why I asked you to add a repring feature in pring or there should be a mention feature as in twitter or is there any other solution? What should I do to gain more followers? How can I avoid those info profiles from copying my facts.

    Dear Nash ..
Here are a few things, most of the pringers aren’t liking

    - First, The limitation of updates, i-e, Just a single update per hour , and Only 10 updates per day!!
Sir this is a suggestion that the number of updater per hour must be increased, like 4 or 5 updates per hour, and also 50 or something, updates must be allowed per day.
Im Sure you’ll look into these said things and won’t disheart pringers more.

    Thanks

Another Problem is that, sometimes I send 1 or 2 updates and then it says you can’t post more than 10 updates per day. Its so disgusting………….
