Hear ye… hear ye! Feature Day is here!

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Welcome to our shiny new blog!

Because we’re developing Pring rapidly, it’s hard to keep track of all that is new. So, to help you learn about the new features we’ve setup a blog post series much like a change log you see in software. Here are a list of updates:

Pring Blog – Now that we’ve launched the official blog for Pring, you can get all the latest news and updates about Pring and Pringers from here.

Ability to Delete Account – Previously, you could only disable your account. Now, however, you can delete your account by visiting the settings page, scrolling down and clicking Delete Account

Delete my account

Take a moment to give us your feedback on why you want to leave. If you’re certain that this is the end, click on the button at the bottom of the page:

You can also unsubscribe via SMS: send UNSUB, we will ask you to confirm a code (to confirm it’s you). You can then also join Pring as a fresh Pringer. Please keep in mind that once you want your account deleted, we delete EVERYTHING. This means every update, every comment etc. Please be careful when deciding to bid us farewell!

Improved Facebook Feed Look – Status updates from Pring will now appear on Pring with the Pring icon and a “View Full Conversation” link, clicking this will lead to your permalink page on Pring. We found this useful when you’re talking with pringers who are not on Facebook and they’re wondering what are you talking about?

Faster! – The status updates and mobile commands will now be executed/broadcasted at a much faster speed than before

MUTE Functionality - Sending any message during the your scheduled “mute” time will now unmute (similar to sending ON) the service. You can learn more about the MUTE command here.

Fixed Duplicate Twitter Updates – An issue that caused duplicate messages from Twitter was plugged

That’s all for this release, we hope to get more and more suggestions and feedback from you guys. So please do drop us emails at feedback@pringit.com or send us a private pring (by SMSing M+PRING+message), and we will try to cater your requests and suggestions.
